It all started with …

Owner Dennis Partida has had barbecue as a part of his life for many years. His journey began in Junior High, where he worked for famed Victoria BBQ joint Big John’s. He launched his own barbecue dream with a food trailer in 2012. For 5 years, he was only open on the weekends, but in 2017 he took a leap of faith and left his job at the local Caterpillar plant to run RnC BBQ as a full time operation.

His business is named for his late sister Cindy as well as his late brother-in-law Rodney, who helped him build the barbecue trailer. Dedication to quality is the calling card of RnC BBQ, as are the large portions that keep customers coming back. His customers’ satisfaction is what continues to drive and inspire Dennis. Good food, good service, and a reliable location contribute to RnC BBQ’s rising popularity in the Victoria barbecue scene.

Cooking primarily with oak wood, a long, slow and low cook time lends itself to producing some mouth-watering brisket. Big sellers include brisket sandwiches, and brisket nachos are definitely a fan favorite. Dennis is most proud of his brisket, which is offered in a number of items on the menu. For a sweet treat after some brisket, you can’t pass up their banana pudding. They’ve tried to offer other desserts before; customers continued to ask for the pudding! With huge portions, friendly service, and a promise to serve the best product, RnC BBQ is a must-stop location on the Coastal Texas Barbecue Trail!
